Azerbaijani, Georgian FMs meet in Kars

Baku: As part of the trilateral meeting of Azerbaijani, Georgian, and Turkish foreign ministers in Kars, Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with his Georgian counterpart Tamar Beruchashvili. At the meeting, the sides expressed contentment of the current level of Azerbaijani-Georgian cooperation, which is developing in all areas, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told APA.

The parties noted the importance of the Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) and Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway projects in the further strengthening of cooperation, peace, and security in the region. They especially emphasized that the trilateral meeting held among Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey contributes to regional cooperation, stability, and prosperity.

Then the parties exchanged opinions on the ongoing developments in the region and around the world.
