Azerbaijan to send AZN 1 mln worth of humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan

Baku: Azerbaijan will send humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan due to a powerful quake that occured in Kyrgyzstan in November.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations stated that the powerful quake that occured in the Osh province of Kyrgyzstan caused destructions and damaged infrastructure.

“The Kyrgyz government asked Azerbaijan for the aid. Under the instruction of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the Ministry of Emergency Situations is carrying out preparatory works for sending AZN 1 mln worth of humanitarian aid to quake-affected zone,” said the ministry.
