Azerbaijan starts application submission on specialty group 5 for higher schools and secondary schools from 11-year base

Baku: Azerbaijan has started student admission on specialty group 5 for higher education schools and secondary schools from 11-year base, APA reported.

Application submission will be done from May 5 to 8. Applicants wanting to enter higher education schools (on specialty group 5) and secondary schools from 11-year base must visit the website of the State Student Admission Commission (SSAC) (http://eservices.tqdk.gov.az/erizebak/qrup5_oi/) to fill in the form “the applicant’s online application’ by using their ID card and online SSAC payment card. The online payment card can be obtained through web payment or by sending an empty SMS to 7725.

Those applying to any of specialty groups 1,2,3, or 4 must present an online application for specialty group 5 or higher education schools and secondary schools from 11-year base without purchasing a second payment card.

Those who have graduated the secondary school this year and now want to enter higher education schools (on specialty group 5) and secondary schools from 11-year do not need to take an entrance examination and attend the competition based on their results in final examinations.

Female applicants who graduated secondary schools in 2015 and in 2012, 2013 and 2014, female applicants who graduated vocational training schools in 2013 and next years, female applicants who have applications confirmed in 2012 and next years for entrance to bachelor’s degree of the high schools, and secondary schools confirm their e-applications without applying to Document Admission Committees (DAC).

Other applicants submit required documents and get confirmed e-application from DACs. These applicants’ applications should be confirmed from May 5 to 18. The DACs operate every day (excluding Saturday and Sunday) from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

Applications of foreigners and persons who have not citizenship (excluding applicants on abovementioned categories), as well as Azerbaijani citizens studied abroad should be confirmed in the DACs in SSAC and its regional departments. Applications of Azerbaijanis living in Georgia should be confirmed in the DAC established in Gazakh branch of Azerbaijan Teachers’ University.

Those wanting to study on special aptitude specialties at higher and vocational institutions should first complete the confirmation of their online applications and then can participate in the qualifying round by presenting the required documents and their creative works to the Aptitude Examination CommissionS (AEC). Applicants will take examinations on native language, mathematics and foreign language subjects at the entrance examinations for higher education schools and secondary schools from 11-year base.
