Azerbaijan participates in Charity Christmas Bazaar in Romania

Azerbaijanis living in Romania arranged the country’s stand in the Charity Christmas Bazaar in Bucharest, Romania.

More than 40 countries participated in the Bazaar, supported by embassies, volunteers and sponsors.

The Bazaar is a prestigious annual event organized and coordinated by the International Women’s Association.

It was a festive day with activities for the entire family. The participant countries showcased their culture through traditional food, handicrafts, and entertainment. Holiday shopping for local and international products in a fun and lively atmosphere was one of the highlights.

Visitors had the opportunity to buy a wide variety of products from all over the world: souvenirs, clothing, fashion accessories, jewelry, handicrafts, arts, traditional food and beverages.

The Bazaar aims to promote relationship and strengthen friendship between members representing their respective countries.

All goods sold at national tables during are donated, with proceeds going to the IWA Charity Committee for distribution. Last year, more than 3,000 people attended this event and the organizers raised more than 38,000 Euros.
