Azerbaijan names roads to be closed due to TOUR d’Azerbaidjan cycling race

Baku: Azerbaijan has announced the list of roads to be closed due to the cyclic race TOUR d’Azerbaidjan.

On May 6, traffic movement on the following streets and highways will be restricted for the indicated durations due to the 1st round of the 5-round international cyclic race TOUR d’Azerbaidjan, which is dedicated to the memory of Heydar Aliyev and will go through the cities of Baku, Sumgayit and Mingachevir and the districts of Absheron, Gobustan, Shamakhi, Aghsu, Ismayilli, Gabala, Aghdash, Yevlakh, Oghuz, and Sheki, the state traffic police department told APA.

In Baku:

From Flag Square to Bibiheybat Mosque (Salyan highway, opposite direction)

From 10:00 to 10:40 local time

Baku-Alat highway:

Baku-Sahil settlement highway (Alat direction)

From 10:30 to 11:10 local time

Sahil-Zeynalabdin Taghiyev highway:

Sahil-Zeynalabdin Taghiyev highway (both directions)

From 11:00 to 12:00 local time

Baku-Shamakhi highway:

Baku-Shamakhi highway, to Suletepe settlement (Baku direction)

From 11:50 to 12:15 local time

Baku-Sumgayit highway:

Baku-Sumgayit highway, from Sulutepe settlement to Masazir settlement (Sumgayit direction)

From 12:10 to 12:25 local time

Masazir-Novkhany-Sumgayit highway:

Masazir-Novkhany highway (both directions)

From 12:15 to 12:30 local time

Nokhany-Sumgayit seaside road (both directions)

From 12:20 to 12:45 local time

Sumgayit city:
