Azerbaijan joins Charity Bazaar in Vietnam

The Azerbaijani Embassy in Vietnam took part in the International Charity Bazaar, welcoming thousands of local and foreign visitors.

Every year diplomatic missions, international organizations, multinational companies, private businesses and NGOs participate as volunteers in Charity Bazaar in Vietnam.

The event held by the Vietnam Foreign Ministry showcased the stands of 28 countries.

Azerbaijan’s national stand showcased state attributes of the country, as well as exhibits and souvenirs that reflect the culture and history of the country, national costumes, dishes, books and postcards about Land of Fire.

First Lady of Vietnam Mau Thi Han, visiting the event, viewed the Azerbaijani stand.

Vietnamese and foreigners living in Hanoi tasted plov, dolma, kuku, and different national sweets.

The bazaar is a prestigious annual event. Here visitors have the opportunity to buy a wide variety of products from all over the world: souvenirs, clothing, fashion accessories, jewelry, handicrafts, arts, traditional food and beverages.

The festival aims to promote relationship and strengthen friendship between members representing their respective countries.

The money earned this day by the participants of charity bazaar are transferred to charitable funds, which are used to finance the Community Aid Projects, which improve the lives of disadvantaged women and children, educational and health projects in the remote mountain areas of Vietnam.
