Azerbaijan, Georgia to construct two border checkpoints – Deputy FM

Baku: Javid Zeynalli – APA. “Two border checkpoints will be constructed between Georgia and Azerbaijan,” Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov told journalists, APA reports.

He said that there is no problem on border and other issues between Azerbaijan and Georgia.

“New checkpoints are opening today. This is due to necessity. Economic and political relations between our countries are at a high level. The relations are being further developed and strengthened. Contacts between people are increasing. Therefore, both economic and humanitarian relations enable the construction of new border checkpoints,” he said.
