Arif Mammadov recalled from his position as OIC ambassador to EU

Baku: The ambassador of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to the European Union (EU), Arif Mammadov, has been recalled from his position. He has been deprived of his status as OIC diplomat and expelled from the organization, diplomatic sources told APA.

Note that, Arif Mammadov was appointed to this position in 2013. He had previously worked as Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Brussels and head of the country’s permanent delegation to the EU.
