Ali Babacan: Armenia’s aggressive policy leads to its isolation from all projects

Baku: “Mutual trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkey in 2014 made $5 bln. Turkey and Azerbaijan implement joint projects. Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipelines are already available. TANAP and TAP projects are basis of significant cooperation”, said the Turkish Vice Premier Ali Babacan at the B20 Azerbaijan Regional Consultation Forum.

He noted that Azerbaijan’s strategic significance in the South Caucasus increased: “Azerbaijan has a power in the region. We always support Azerbaijan to use this potential”.

Babacan said that Armenia’s aggressive policy leads to its isolation from all projects: “In spite of 20-year activity, OSCE Minsk Group has not results. If Armenia wants to build normal economy, it should give up the aggression”.

“I witness in my each visit to Baku that the city has changed. Baku has already become an international city. Last week, Baku hosted the 3rd Global Forum. It will host European Games in June. We also are witnessing this development closely. We believe that Azerbaijan will continue to develop in the future”, he said.
