After long battle for his life, famous actor discharged

Screen and stage actor Nejat Isler, who was hospitalized in the southwestern resort town of Bodrum in January due to a severe lung infection, was discharged from hospital on Tuesday.

The 41-year-old actor was later transferred to Istanbul’s Vehbi Koc Foundation American Hospital. Doctors said the actor was suffering from septic shock and respiratory failure caused by a severe lung infection. His kidneys, heart and liver have also been seriously affected by the septic shock and a number of doctors have been following the condition of the actor.

Born in 1972 in Istanbul, Isler is known for his roles in the movies “Mustafa Hakkinda Hersey” and “Yumurta” as well as his roles in the television series “Gulbeyaz” and “Aliye.”
