AEC President: Suspension of inspections in entrepreneurship will support economic development in the country

Baku: “The statements about protection of rights of entrepreneurs, elimination of groundless inspections against them made by President Ilham Aliyev at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to the outcomes of socio-economic development in nine months of 2015 and objectives for the future are also of great importance”, President of Azerbaijan Entrepreneurship Confederation Mammad Musayev said at the meeting “New stage in the entrepreneurial development: targets and opportunities” held with entrepreneurs.

Musayev mentioned that the president submitted to the Parliament a draft law on suspension of inspections in the entrepreneurship on October 19 and the Parliament immediately adopted it: “According to this draft law, the inspections in the entrepreneurship will be suspended for two years from November 1, 2015. This law is of great and historical importance for acceleration of economic development, achievement of global successes”.

“The decree of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev issued on October 19 to reduce number of types of entrepreneurship requiring a special license, facilitate granting a special license and ensure transparency also is of great importance for entrepreneurial development. The decree aims to stimulate the entrepreneurial development in the country, ensure useful business environment, facilitate granting a special license and ensure transparency and it was recommended to accelerate consideration of draft law on “Licenses and permissions” submitted to the parliament. This decree once more proved that entrepreneurial development is priority direction of the state policy”, Musayev said.

He added that the decree on simplification of several controls in the customs sphere also reflects care of the head of state about the development of business environment and entrepreneurial development.

“Promotion of domestic production, allocation of loans to entrepreneurs, protection of interests of private sector during global crisis will allow solution of issues lying ahead. Liberal economic policy, preservation of macroeconomic and financial stability, deepening of policy supporting sustainable economic growth and economic modernization, rapid development of non-oil sector are positive results achieved. The successes of the Republic are also reflected in outlooks of international rating and financial organizations. Azerbaijan is recently among the countries which have reforming and positive changes in the assessments by international financial organizations. All of these prove that economic policy strategy in the country is correct”, Musayev added.
