AAP Candidate attacked, admitted to hospital

YENI DELHI (CIHAN)- Aam Aadmi Party candidate from Nalanda Lok Sabha seat was allegedly attacked by a gang of nearly 25 unidentified assailants last night. Pranav Prakash sustained serious injuries and was immediately rushed to a local hospital where his treatment is going on.

The incident reportedly took place when Pranav was passing through Utarthu village under Bind police station area.

The AAP leader, an engineer by profession, said he was travelling by his car in Nalanda when a group of nearly 25 people stopped his car and thrashed him mercilessly. “They dragged me out of the car and hit me on my mouth with the pistol. They also attacked me with sticks on my hands and legs,” he said.

An FIR has been registered in this regard and the police are probing into the incident.

Nalanda, the native place of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, goes to poll on April 17.

Interestingly, the attacks on AAP candidates are continuing relentlessly.
