53 mln Egyptians go to polls for presidential election

KAHIRE (CIHAN)- Around 53 millions of voters went to elections ballot boxes to select president of the country, a first after the army declared coup 11 months ago.

The election will last for two days. Former military chief Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Hamdeen Sabahi run for presidency.

Voting began at 9 a.m. and will last until 9 p.m.
