14-year-old boy drowns in river in western Turkey

A 14-year-old boy drowned in Porsuk River, located in western province of Eskişehir on Wednesday evening reportedly after sniffing glue.

According to eye witnesses, the boy Faruk Öztünç who is a drug addict fell into the river after he sniffed glue. Rescue teams, police and paramedics arrived at the scene to save the man. However, he was found dead after 40 minutes. The body of Öztunç was taken to the morgue of a hospital. Police launched an investigation into the incident.
