WHO CONFIRMS A SMALL EBOLA OUTBREAK IN DRC

Geneva – The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared an Ebola outbreak in the northeast region of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

According to WHO, three deaths are being linked to the virus, since April 22.

One of those killed had tested positive for Ebola after coming down with a haemorrhagic fever last month in Bas-Uele, a province which borders the Central African Republic.
