US VICE PRESIDENT DISCUSSES COUNTER-TERRORISM EFFORTS WITH IRAQI PRIME MINISTER

Washington, – US Vice President Mike Pence met today with Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al Abadi, who is currently visiting Washington.

They discussed bilateral relations as well as the international community’s support for Iraq’s fight against ISIS. Al Abadi’s office said in a statement that Pence renewed the US administration’s support to Iraq in its counter-terrorism efforts. Pence also Praised Iraqi forces for regaining the city of Mosul from ISIS. (QNA)
