US SECRETARY OF STATE TO VISIT SOUTH KOREA MARCH 17

Seoul- US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will pay a two-visit to South Korea Starting March 17.

The South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement today saying that Tillerson will meet with Korea’s Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se. They will discuss how to deal with North Korean nuclear and missile threats as well as to further strengthen the alliance between the two countries.

South Korean news agency Yonhap reported that The trip comes amid heightened tensions in the region in the wake of North Korea’s successive missile launches. The US official will also visit Japan and China, the US State Department said today. (QNA)
