Tunis – Tunisia and Serbia signed here on Tuesday a cooperation agreement in the military field.

The agreement was inked by Tunisian Minister of National Defense Farhat Horchani and his Serbian counterpart Zoran Djordjevic, who is currently visiting Tunis.

It aims to establish cooperation between the two countries in the fields of military industry and training in addition to exchange of visits, expertise and training programs.

The two countries’ defense ministers earlier today discussed issues related to the security challenges in the Mediterranean basin, the security situation in the Maghreb region and the fight against terrorism. (QNA)
