Three Palestinians Injured in Kafr Qaddum March

Ramallah, Three Palestinian young men sustained minor injuries and a seven-year-old child was detained by Israeli occupation forces who repressed a peaceful march in the northern West Bank town of Kafr Qaddum that protested settlement and called for re-opening a village street that was shut 14 years ago.

Hundreds participated in the march that moved towards the closed street but Israeli forces personnel attacked them with tear gas and rubber bullets, injuring three youths while detaining a seven-year-old child before releasing him, Murad Shtaiwi, the main coordinator for the Kufr Qaddum Popular Resistance Committee and father of the child, said.

Shtaiwi said demonstrators hailed stones at the Israeli units who responded with live ammunition and rubber bullets.
