TERRORISM REPRESENTS SERIOUS THREAT TO WORLD’S NATIONS, SAYS EGYPTIAN PRESIDENT

Riyadh – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said that terrorism represents a serious threat to the peoples of the world, and that its eradication requires, in addition to security and military measures, a comprehensive approach that includes political, ideological and developmental dimensions.

“Our battle is part of the global war against terrorism, and we are committed to defeating the terrorist organizations and eager to extend a helping hand and partnership to all our allies in the fight against these organizations everywhere,” Sisi said in his address to the Arab-American Islamic Summit in Riyadh.

He added that the meeting today reflects the resolve to renew the partnership between the Arab and Islamic countries and the United States of America, thus blocking the illusion of the advocates of the clash of civilizations, who do not perceive the relationship between peoples except as a conflict in which one side over the other and fail to realize the real significance of the diversity of civilizations and cultures.(QNA)
