SUDAN REGRETS DECISION OF SOME ARAB COUNTRIES TO CUT TIES WITH QATAR

The Sudanese government is deeply concerned over the recent developments among Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states to cut off ties with Qatar , Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.

It called for self restraint, as well as, working together to overcome the dispute, in the interest of the Arab countries and people.

In a statement issued on Monday night, the Sudanese Foreign Ministry said that, the government expressed regret over such a “sorrowful development, between a number of sister and dear countries, to the hearts of the Sudanese people and the entire Arab nation.”

Sudan was confident that the Arab countries could overcome the current crisis.

It said that, it was ready to cooperate with all the “brothers” to achieve reconciliation and restore relations
