Sheikha Moza Presides Over Silatech Board’s Meeting

Doha, – Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Silatech, presided today over the first meeting of the new board of trustees of the organization.

The meeting saw the presentation of the annual report on performance in 2016. The board also presented the organization’s strategy and a report on the achievements of this year. They ratified the operational plan for 2017.

Silatech signed a number of agreements and Memorandums of Understanding with Qatar National Bank (Africa), Smart Tunisia Programme, the Ministry of Communication Technologies and Digital Economy of Tunisia, Narwi, Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development and Enda Finance.

Commenting on the occasion, HH Sheikha Moza said that activating the experience of the board will enable the organization to enhance its support to youth by unleashing their vocational potential. Her Highness added that Silatech’s signing of strategic agreements with its partners was a continuation to its commitment towards youth, in their bid to achieve their ambitions. Her Highness added that the organization has all the tools necessary to combat unemployment with creative solutions.
