Riyadh, Ramadan 7, 1438 — Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.

Editorially, Al-Riyadh newspaper said that when the United States of America calls upon Qatar to abide by a memorandum of understanding reached at Riyadh summit, which included the establishment of a mechanism to monitor and verify the non-funding of extremist organizations signed with the GCC countries, that means Qatar has not fully complied with the agreement and that the Qatari government continues to support terrorist organizations, ignoring Riyadh agreement.

The newspaper concluded that the fact that Doha signed Riyadh agreement to stop financing terrorist organizations and then refrained from that agreement puts it in front of a major responsibility to Arab and international community, and that Qatar’s choice to be an ally of Iran which is the first state accused of terrorism, is considered as a political suicide and a quick decision and reaction that should not have been.
