SAUDI ARABIA CONCLUDES ARRANGEMENTS FOR IRANIAN PILGRIMS TO PERFORM NEXT HAJJ

Jeddah, – The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the Iranian Hajj Organization have conducted all necessary arrangements for Iranian pilgrims’ participation in the coming hajj season, according to the approved procedures with all Islamic countries, Saudi state news agency SPA reported.

Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Mohammad Saleh bin Taher Benten, had met on Feb. 23 with head of the Iranian Hajj Organization, Hamid Mohammadi, to discuss arrangements for Iranian pilgrims’ performance of hajj, the ministry said in a statement.

The ministry reiterated that the Saudi government and people welcomes all pilgrims and visitors of different nationalities and backgrounds, and from different countries of the Muslim world.

It added that the government exerts all efforts to serve the pilgrims and ensure their safety and comfort during the performance of hajj and umrah. (QNA)
