Moscow, – The Sixth Moscow Conference on Global Security, which focuses on counter-terrorism and regional threats, will take place on April 26-27.

Defense Minister General Sergei Shoigu said that this year’s event will focus on The fight against international terrorism and security threats facing Europe, the Asian-Pacific region, Central Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. Russian news agency quoted Shoigu saying that the conference has gained prominence in recent years.

A total of 24 defense ministers, heads of seven international organizations and 14 deputy defense ministers will attend this year according to the Russian defense minister. More than 700 guests, including around 500 representatives of foreign countries, are expected to attend the Moscow Security Conference. (QNA)
