– Qatari Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammad Al-Thani, contacted Monday, his counterparts from Arab, Muslim and Western countries, to discuss developments in the region.

They discussed developments in the region and issues of mutual interest which included the move by several Arab and Gulf nations, including Saudi Arabia and Egypt to break ties with Qatar.

Sheikh Mohammad telephoned the foreign ministers of Tunisia, Sudan, Algeria and Morocco, as well as, Pakistan Prime Minister’s Foreign Relations Adviser.

The Qatari top diplomat also discussed regional developments with his Russian, Iranian and Sri Lankan counterparts
