Qatar Sends Medical Aid Aircraft to Libya

Doha, – A private jet carrying medical aid and medicine left Qatar on Friday headed to Libya under directives from HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.

The aircraft arrived tonight in Misrata International Airport with a team from Lekhwiya’s international Qatar Search and Rescue Team on board. A high-level Libyan delegation received them upon arrival.

The standing committee on rescue, relief and humanitarian aid in affected areas in fraternal and friendly states, led by Lekhwiya, took charge of preparing the aids and coordinating with the concerned authorities so as to deliver them to those in need in Libya.
