PRESIDENT OF TURKEY MEETS PRIME MINISTER OF QATAR

ISTANBUL, – President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani, at the Istanbul Convention Centre, on the occasion of his participation in the World Humanitarian Summit in Istanbul.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior conveyed the greetings of the Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to the Turkish President, wishing him and the people of Turkey further development and growth.

For his part, President Erdogan entrusted the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani, to convey his greetings to the Emir, wishing him good health and happiness and the State of Qatar continued progress and prosperity.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing them in various fields, in addition to a number of issues of common concern and regional and international issues.
