PRESIDENT OF TUNISIA MEETS ARAB LEAGUE SECRETARY-GENERAL

Tunis, – President of Tunisia Beji Caid Essebssi met here today with Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Abo Al Ghait, who was visiting Tunisia to take part in the 34th session of the Arab Interior Ministers’ Council.

They focused their discussion on the latest Arab League summit in Jordan. They also agreed that the Arab League must regain initiative in dealing with all the challenges facing the region. The two sides also discussed developments in the region, starting with the Palestinian issue, before moving on to developments in Libya, and Syria. (QNA)
