PRESIDENT OF PALESTINE MEETS NORWEGIAN FOREIGN MINISTER, DISCUSS PEACE TALKS UPDATE

Ramallah, – Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met here today with Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Borge Brende.

The reviewed together the latest diplomatic and political developments related to the peace process. They focused specifically on talks with the US administration on the matter. The two sides also discussed the outcomes of the Arab Summit, which was held in Jordan last Wednesday.

The Norwegian official stressed his country’s support to the Palestinian economy through donor conferences. There will be a donor pledge conference that will take place in Belgium in May. It will look to find ways to support the Palestinian economy and improve the country’s infrastructure. (QNA)
