PARTLY CLOUDY WEATHER, WEAK CHANCE OF LIGHT RAIN EXPECTED TONIGHT

Doha, – Weather inshore tonight until 6 a.m. on Saturday will be partly cloudy at times with a weak chance of light rain at north area, becoming hazy to misty by late night, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily report.

Offshore, the weather will be hazy and partly cloudy to cloudy at times with a chance of scattered rain, thundery to the north, the report added, warning of thundery rain associated with strong wind and high seas to the north.

Wind inshore will be northeasterly to southeasterly at a speed of 4 to 13 knots. Offshore, it will be northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 5 to 15 knots, reaching 25 knots to the north with thunder rain.

Visibility will be 5 to 8 kilometers or 3 kilometers less at places by late night.

Sea state inshore will be 1 to 3 feet. Offshore, it will be 2 to 4 feet, surging to 8 feet to the north with thunder rain.
