Pakistan strongly condemns suicide attack in Kabul

ISLAMABAD, June 30 (KUNA) — The Government of Pakistan strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Kabul targeting an Afghan National Police convoy killing a number of personnel and injuring several others, said the Foreign Office.
A press release by Pakistan Foreign Office read that the Government and the people of Pakistan extend their heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Afghanistan over the loss of innocent lives. “Our hearts go out to the bereaved families and we wish speedy recovery for the injured. Pakistan reiterates its strong condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. Pakistan stands in solidarity with the people of Afghanistan in this hour of grief,” it added.
Earlier on Thursday, twin suicide blasts targeting a convoy of Afghan police recruits in capital city Kabul killed at least 30 police cadets and wounded 53 others. (end) sbk.ajs
