“Our Sciences” exhibits female students' talents

KUWAIT, May 8 (KUNA) — “Our Sciences” exhibition was a great opportunity to encourage creative thinking when a group of female students displayed their scientific experiments and artistic projects, member of the higher committee of “Wathiq” said on Sunday.
Ahlam Bahbahani said that the one-day exhibition is part of “Wathiq;” a self-induced confidence educational program.
The event focused on students’ talents in physics, chemistry, literature, art and caricature.
The program’s media team chief Mohammad Al-Kandari, meanwhile, said that Wathiq has strived to highlight male and female students’ achievements in an environment that is full of motivation.
Wathiq has left positive impact on students, teachers, school administrations and parents, he added.
Participating students unanimously agreed that their success was the product of team work and their teachers’ encouragement.
Wathiq program aims at building an ambitious young people. It is organized by three governmental bodies: Higher consultation committee for Islamic law at the Amiri Diwan, Ministry of Youth Affairs, and Ministry of Education.
Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs have recently joined the program. (end) fsa.nfm
