N. Koreans Need Visa to Enter Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, – All North Koreans have to apply for visa to enter Malaysia, said Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

Ahmad Zahid said the decision that will be gazetted soon, was made after considering that national security is a priority.

“I hope the decision of the Home Ministry will be implemented by the Immigration Department for the sake of national security,” he told a press conference Thursday.

Previously, citizens of North Korea and Malaysia only need to use their passports to enter both the countries. (QNA)
