MUSLIM WORLD LEAGUE CONDEMNS CHEMICAL ATTACK IN SYRIA

Mecca, – The General Secretariat of the Muslim World League condemned the chemical weapons attack on Khan Shaykhun Town in the Idlib Governorate northwestern of Syria which resulted in the death of tens of civilians most of which are women and children.

The league said that the use of chemical weapons is internationally prohibited and is considered a crime against humanity. The league urged the UN Security Council to protect the Syrian civilians and take strict action against all supporters of such acts. (QNA)
