MOROCCO’S KING APPOINTS NEW GOVERNMENT

Rabat, – Morocco’s King Mohammad VI on Wednesday appointed a new cabinet led by Saad-Eddine El Othmani of the Justice and Development Party.

The new government includes ministers of six political parties, while some ministries went to non-partisan figures.

The PJD won elections held last October, but the formation of a new government was delayed.

The King on March 17 asked El Othmani to form a new cabinet after relieving Abdelilah Benkirane as his efforts to form a government had been stalled.(QNA)
