Moldovan Parliament Conditionally Exempts Qatari Citizens from Visa Requirements

An official source from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Consular Affairs Department said that the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova adopted a law that exempts citizens of the State of Qatar from visa requirements from entering Moldova, if they have a residence or a valid visa from any EU or Schengen area countries. This would allow the Qatari citizens to stay for a total of 90 calendar days during a total period of 180 days. If they exceed the 90-calendar day period, citizens will have to obtain a long-stay visa.
