Mohamed bin Zayed meets Egyptian President

WAM ABU DHABI, 31st October, 2013 (WAM) — His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces met on Thursday, Adly Mansour, President of Egypt, who is on an official visit to the country.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi welcomed the Egyptian President in his second country, the UAE, expressing his happiness on the visit, which comes within the framework of enhancing cooperation relations between the UAE and Egypt.

He also wished for Egypt further progress, development and welfare as well as achieve stability, security and developmental in the next period.

Sheikh Mohamed and President Mansour reviewed the existing bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them in various fields in the best interest of the two fraternal countries and peoples.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi hosted a banquet in honour of Mansour and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor, H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Dr. Hadef bin Jowan Al Dhahiri, Minister of Justice, the head of the honour mission accompanying the Egyptian President, Mohammad Bin Nakhira Al Dahiri, UAE Ambassador to Egypt. Meanwhile, on the Egyptian, Nabil Fahmy, Egyptian Foreign Minister and others attended the event.
