METEOROLOGY DEPARTMENT WARNS OF STRONG WIND, THUNDERY RAIN TONIGHT

Doha, – Weather inshore tonight until 6 a.m. on Saturday will be slightly dusty to dusty and partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered rain, thundery at places at times, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily report, warning of low visibility in some areas and strong wind with thundery rain.

Wind inshore will be northeasterly at a speed of 15 to 25 knots, reaching 38 knots at places. Offshore, it will be northeasterly to southeasterly at a speed of 17 to 26 knots, rising to 38 knots at places with thundery rain.

Visibility will be 4 to 8 kilometers or 3 kilometers less at times.

Sea state inshore will be 2 to 4 feet, surging to 5 feet at places at times. Offshore, it will be 5 to 9 feet, reaching 13 feet at places with thundery rain.
