Grosjean took up the exciting new challenge during his recent visit to Dubai, where he spent three hours climbing up the spire of Emaar’s iconic project, making him one of the very few celebrities to achieve this phenomenal feat.

Participating in the upcoming Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in Yas Marina from November 1 to 3, 2013, Grosjean also visited The Dubai Mall, the world’s largest shopping and entertainment destination, to meet and greet die-hard fans of the world’s foremost motor racing sport, the Formula 1 Championship.

Emaar Properties had inked its partnership with the Lotus F1(R) Team as its ‘Official Partner,’ joining world-renowned brands Microsoft, Unilever, and The Coca-Cola Company, to support the team which scooped the 2012 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

After placing fourth in the recent Japanese Grand Prix, and prevailing five times in the last seven sessions, Grosjean recently scooped the final podium slot, coming in third at the Indian Grand Prix, raising his position to seventh in the Drivers’ Championship with 102 points.

Having cruised through Italy, Singapore, Korea, Japan, and India, the much-awaited Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has racing fans at the edge of their seats, waiting to see who will clinch the prestigious cup.
