Kuwaiti Health Min. in Cairo to attend WHO-sponsored seminar

CAIRO, May 6 (KUNA) — Kuwait’s Minister of Health Dr. Ali Al-Obaidi arrived in Cairo on Friday, heading an official Kuwaiti delegation to take part in a seminar organized by the regional office of the World Health Organization (WHO).
It is expected that participants in the seminar will discuss over a two-day period such topics as the nexus between providing health services and foreign policy, and between health issues and national security, as well as dealing with wide-scale emergencies and catastrophes, and the connection between humanitarian crises and expected achievement of national development goals.
