KUWAIT, May 22 (KUNA) — A visiting delegation of South Africa’s Ministry of Trade and Industry and Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) discussed on Sunday ways of boosting bilateral cooperation and promoting South African products in Kuwait.
KCCI Director-General Rabah Al-Rabah said in a press statement following the meeting held at the KCCI that the South African delegation’s visit aimed developing bilateral trade and economic relations.
He voiced the KCCI’s willingness to cement and bolster bilateral economic ties and to tap foreign expertise in order to carry out development projects in Kuwait, believing that the country’s development drive would not be affected by falling oil prices.
On his part, the head of the visiting South African delegation, Yunus Hussain said during the visit the team had presented information on this African country’s business and investment atmosphere.
He pointed to available attractive investment opportunities covering various sectors such as agriculture, trade services, developed industries and medical and pharmaceutical technologies in South Africa. (end) fnk.tab.mt
