KPC announces joint Kuwaiti-South Korean cmte to inspect investment opportunities

KUWAIT, May 10 (KUNA) — Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) announced on Tuesday the formation of a Kuwaiti-South Korean joint committee, tasked with inspecting investment opportunities in both countries.
The announcement was made in a meeting of delegations of KPC and South Korean conglomerate SK Group, which coincided with His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah’s visit to the South Korean capital, Seoul.
In a press statement, KPC said that the meeting between the company’s delegation, headed by Finance Minister and Acting Oil Minister Anas Al-Saleh, and the SK Group, tackled ways to boost cooperation between both nations, particularly, in the investment field.
Moreover, both sides have agreed to form a joint committee to inspect investment opportunities in both nations, the statement added.
His Highness the Prime Minister’s visit to South Korea featured discussions with major South Korean officials, meant to bolster bilateral ties.
