JORDANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER MEETS FRENCH OFFICIAL

Amman, – Jordanian Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi on Sunday met with Jean-Marie Le Guen, the French Minister of State for Development and Francophonie, attached to the French Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development.

In the meeting, the two ministers discussed bilateral relations and ways of developing them in the political, economic, investment, security and military fields.

Jordanian Petra news agency said that Safadi and Le Guen also discussed the latest regional developments, especially the Syrian and refugees crises.

The French official emphasized the need for continued international support for Jordan to help it carry the burden of refugees. (QNA)
