JORDAN FM MEETS IAEA DIRECTOR-GENERAL

Amman – Jordan’s Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi met here on Tuesday with the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Yukiya Amano, Who is currently visiting Amman.

During the meeting, they discussed IAEA’s role in supporting Jordan’s peaceful nuclear program, in addition to the agency’s efforts to strengthen local and international nuclear security capabilities.

Safadi reviewed efforts exerted by Jordan to enhance regional security and stability and address regional crises. (QNA)
