GAZA, March 10 (NNN-KUNA) — Israeli tanks and artillery, stationed near the borders with Gaza Strip, bombarded several targets in the central part of the Strip on Thursday night.

At least two shells hit Al-Qarrareh and Wadi Al-Salqa villages amid intensive sorties by the Israeli reconnaissance aircraft, witnesses told KUNA.

The shelling resulted in neither human nor material damage but triggered panic among residents near the border wall, they added.

Earlier in the day, Israeli media claimed that a missile was fired from Gaza into Ashkelon town.
