HE the Prime Minister Attends CCQ Graduation Ceremony

Doha, – HE the Prime minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani attended the Community College of Qatar (CCQ) graduation ceremony of students of the fifth batch of Diplomas in Arts and Sciences , and the first batch of Diploma in Public Administration students.

The ceremony held this evening at Qatar National Convention Centre was attended a number of Sheikhs, ministers, academics, CCO teaching staff and families of the graduates.

Addressing the ceremony, HE Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah underlined that the most important challenges of the current century is to provide intellectual capital through the preparation of national cadres capable of acquiring knowledge and provide development an ongoing basis by adopting new science and technology .

HE Dr. Al-Attiyah stressed that the state under the wise leadership of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al -Thani has been working to consolidate this approach through the implementation of Qatar National Vision 2030 so that Qatari nationals would obtain desired status they deserve .. He referred to the massive national effort for the Qatari citizen a matter which has made Qatar occupies an advanced position on spending on education and scientific research of the GDP percentage rates.

He added that the State of Qatar has made wide stride in building a culture and awareness of the citizen or community and its role in protecting the homeland and to emphasize that every citizen has a joint responsibility to serve the march of comprehensive development of various dimensions desired.

He said that the celebration of the graduation of the fifth batch of students from the Community College is part of its efforts that target Qataris as essential pillar of comprehensive development of construction of the state.

Concluding, HE Minister of State for Defence Affairs extended sincere congratulations to college officials for their efforts and for the graduates on their success and perseverance for the supply of science and knowledge and actively participate in the process of comprehensive development witnessed by the state.
