JEDDAH, May 29 (KUNA) — Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries met in Jeddah on Sunday to prepare for next Tuesday’s consultative summit of GCC leaders.
The top diplomats, including Kuwait’s First Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, were also discussing implementation of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz’s vision to further cement joint GCC action, and multi-faceted integration.
The foreign ministers would also discuss a host of issues of mutual interest.
Their meeting was followed by a joint conference with British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond. The two sides discussed Yemen, Syria, Iran, Libya, Iraq, Palestine and the war against terrorism. (end) yms.bs
