GCC CONDEMNS U.K. PARLIAMENT ATTACK

Riyadh, – GCC states strongly condemned Wednesday’s attack near the U.K. parliament in London, which left a number of people dead and injured.

In a statement issued today, GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani said GCC states strongly denounce the attack as a horrendous crime that contradicts with all humanitarian and moral values and principles.

Al Zayani expressed his confidence in the ability of U.K. security authorities to uncover the circumstances of the attack, stressing the solidarity of the GCC countries and their support for the United Kingdom in any security measures it takes to preserve its security and the safety of its citizens and residents.

He expressed condolences to the U.K. government and families of victims, and wished speedy recovery to the injured. (QNA)
