DOHA CENTRE FOR MEDIA FREEDOM TAKES PART IN

Doha – Doha Centre for Media Freedom will take part in the World Conference of the International Press Institute, which will be held in Hamburg, Germany, from 18 to 20 May, with a delegation headed by Abdul Rahman Nasser Al-Obaidan, member of the Executive Committee and Acting Director General of the Center.

More than 300 journalists, media officials and heads of media and press freedom organizations from around the world are participating in the conference, most of them members of the Vienna-based International Press Institute.

The conference, which is held annually by the Institute, discusses the conditions of the press in the world and ways to strengthen them.(QNA)
